Madame Mainstream...she hasn't seen a Jones New York suit she doesn't like. The Bay, Winners...or any old outlet store is her institution of choice. Anything fast and easy - she works full-time and has 3 kids, a dog and 3 guineau pigs (who go through semi-loads of hay. ) Good thing Petsmart is beside Costco, which has LOTS of affordable fashions! Mona is rubbing off on her, however, and she's developing a taste for higher end bags! She bragged that she bought 7 jeans the other day, and Mona took a quick look, "They're fake." she said. Sigh.

Anyone else think this is wrong on so many levels?
I've never gotten over the feeling that tights are for little girls. I remember being 7 years old, stuffed into picky white tights under a red polyester dress with my black patent shoes.
When I see women wearing tights, it almost assaults my feminist brain. What, are we all 7 years old?
It's okay, I'll get over it. I've started wearing tights again, and I like it. I bought a black pair from BCBG, and they feel like I'm wearing a kitten on the inside. Super soft, not itchy. I wear a black and tan pattern summer dress over top, layered over a black t-shirt, with a black blazer over. And then I put black boots over my tights. I hope it's cold outside!
