Alexander McQueen influenced many of the worlds youngest designers today. He tailored detailed and dramatic pieces for celebrities such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga. His pieces were so artistic, odd and sometimes bizarre - but his designs were acclaimed by celebrities, magazines and even fine artists.
After the death of his mother, one of the worlds most sought after designers would be found dead in his London apartment on the 11th of February 2010. After the , the results showed that the COD was asphyxiation by hanging. Sad and tragic isn't it?
In 1996, his creative brain fueled the creations of the Givenchy house until he decided to grace Gucci with his designs in 2001. His crazy designs were accompanied by wild makeup and dramatic hair styles.
Paris, London and New York Fashion Week will never be the same without his creations. Aside from haute couture shows, McQueen has designed for BCBG, Puma and also his own Alexander McQueen R2W line. Impressive accomplishments.
